
Dr. David Gilligan

Dr. David Gilligan was
raised in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona. Since a very early age
he recalls always wanting to be a chiropractor.
After attending Arizona State University
with a focus in pre-medical education Dr. Gilligan ventured to Southern
California to attend the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Gilligan graduated in 2003 and
has been utilizing his incredible talent to help thousands of individuals such
as collegiate athletes, stay-at-home-mother's, and children. He has
helped those with musculo-skeletal conditions such as neck pain,
back pain, wrist pain, hip pain, and headache, in addition to others
with medical conditions such as, fibromyalgia, hyperthyroidism, carpal
tunnel syndrome, and inflammatory diseases, just to name a few.
Dr. Gilligan educates his patients, then
inspires them to achieve optimal health, "When you know better,
you do better", he says frequently.
His focus on educating his patients', yet
doing it in such a fun and gregarious manner is what makes The Back

Melanie Miller, MAOM, L.Ac. |
"Melanie was born and raised in the beautiful, green, river-city of Austin, Texas. After many years working in the field of dentistry, Melanie decided to pursue her true passion- to work clinically in the field of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
After four years of premedical undergrad studdies, she completed the four-year Master's program at the world-renowned Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, where she trained in traditional Chinese and modern styles of Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Melanie is licensed to practice in both Texas and Arizona, is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
An avid athlete herself, Melanie has pursued advanced training specifically related to the treatment of acute and chronic pain and musculo-skeletal injuries. Her philosophical approach to treatment includes a focus on patient education, a special emphasis on stress relief therapies and a gentle treatment style with minimal number of needles.
She encourages patients to actively participate in their own healing process and often encourages patients towards appropriate lifestyle changes to support the greatest possible change and transformation with their bodies and their lives. "
